When she walks on hard surfaces they clack. Loud. There is no other sound to compare this sound to. When you hear it, you just KNOW they are dress-up fashion shoes designs. To continue the word picture, BabyR5 also got a princess dress. It is not difficult to imagine what it looks like. Pink, frilly and shiny. Just what a 3 year old loves.
Just after receiving this outfit, we had to go to Target. When we got into the car, BabyR5 had normal shoes in, but by the time we got to Target, she had taken her shoes off and put her princess shoes printer on. She had also smuggled the princess dress into the car and wanted to wear it into Target. Now, one of the best things about being a grandmother is that we have more patience than a mother, and it takes quite a bit to embarrass us. We have seen it all.
Anyways, we compromised, Princess dress went over her clothes and princess shoes went over her shoes print. I was thinking we could get her into the cart and silently move throughout the store with out creating a lot of attention. No. BabyR5 wanted to WALK. We clacked through the parking lot, down virtualy every aisle of Target, even into the bathroom. If you were in our Target that day, you heard us.
Why am I even talking about this? If you had seen BabyR5’s face as she clacked her way through Target, you would have seen a girl who was confident and beautiful. BabyR5 had learned the power of pretty shoes and a great outfit. This is what a pair of beautiful shoes can do for you. The shoes only have to be wonderful to you. No one else. This goes and in hand with what designer shoes talked about a couple of days ago. I have seen a pair of shoes transform women, who think of themselves as homely, into princesses. Here are my princess shoes. I don’t get to wear them often, but they work every time.
